What is brain health?

A healthy brain is one that has the blood flow it needs to perform at peak level. This means that the brain’s structure and the brain’s function must be maintained as much as possible throughout your life.

When we talk about brain structure, we are talking about attributes such as overall brain size or the size of different regions of the brain, such as the hippocampus, which is the a region of the brain that is crucial needed for memory.

Brain function is the actual inner workings of the brain as it controls the activities of the body. These neurons send information to each other and to the rest of the body to make it possible for you to live, move, think and act.
