Neuropsychologist
Dr. Fontina Rashid is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience devoted to understanding, assessing, and treating learning, attention, and psychological disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Georgia State University, which included a pre-doctoral internship at the University of Florida. Dr. Rashid provides comprehensive psychological evaluations designed to obtain thorough information related to each individual’s needs. Evaluations identify the presence of learning, language, or attention disorders as well as psychological diagnoses that may impact functioning. Results from these evaluations guide planning for academic placement and support, intervention, and accommodations. She serves children from preschool through young adulthood.
