
Glenna Brewster, PhD, RN, FNP-BC
Dr. Glenna S. Brewster earned her doctoral degree in Nursing Science from the University of South Florida and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Sleep and Circadian Neurobiology at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and an Assistant Professor at Emory University, where her work focuses on sleep health, dementia including caregiving for persons living with dementia, and culturally responsive behavioral interventions. Dr. Brewster provides evidence-based and compassionate care grounded in promoting restorative sleep and overall health. She has extensive experience delivering behavioral sleep interventions—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia—and enjoys supporting individuals experiencing insomnia, sleep disturbances related to chronic illness or caregiving, stress, and life transitions. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and accessible strategies that help patients build sustainable sleep routines that enhance their quality of life.
